About FACSA

AddThis Social Bookmark Button

With a state director, a professional government relations partner, and a board of directors made up of PA business leaders and advocates for children, FACSA is taking a leadership role in Harrisburg on issues related to protecting our children and bringing abusers to justice.

As a member organization in the Protect Our Children Coalition, FACSA was instrumental in the 2006 passage of a state law which helped close loopholes that had been frequently exploited by perpetrators of child sexual abuse.

Currently, FACSA is focused on the passage of a two year legislative window which will allow survivors of child sex abuse to seek legal justice, no matter their age as current law prohibits survivors from initiating legal action after the survivor reaches a certain age.
