<description>First of all, I'd like to comment and commend our webmaster guru, Marie, on a job MORE than well done. Thanks for your hard work, committment and dedication to not only 'the cause,' but to this website, which I know has been a personal labor of love for you.

Secondly, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to those of you perusing our site for the first time, or the second, or even to those whom are dear friends and colleagues, well known to us.

FACSA was created in 2006 to fill a gaping hole in the field of childhood sexual abuse advocacy - that of legislative reform - and though we have been successful in lessening the gap, it is not yet completely closed. We still have plenty of work to do before we can say with certainty that the laws of our land (both state and federal) fully ensure the protection of child sexual abuse victims' rights.

It is my hope that survivors, supporters, advocates and the general community use this site not only as an educational tool toward better understanding what can be done to help combat childhood sexual abuse, but that all of us take advantage of this wonderful blog to share our feelings, communicate our ideas and network with one another. Together, we can make a difference and help to move forward our vision of a world free from child sexual abuse.

Remember our mantra: Truth, Justice, Accountability.

Best,
Tammy Lerner, State Director
